Treatment Steps
STEP 1: CONSULTATION
Start with a personalized consultation to discuss your goals, evaluate your needs, and determine if you’re a good candidate for Sofwave™. Your Aethos provider will discuss your options, which may include Sofwave™ as a standalone procedure or in conjugation with liposuction. We will review our anesthesia offerings and which is best suited for you if needed.
Step 2: Sofwave™ Session
Before your Sofwave™ treatment, your Aethos team will apply a numbing cream to ensure your comfort. The handpiece will then be moved over your skin, treating small sections at a time. Most people experience a warming sensation in each area, which intensifies but is managed by moving the applicator to another section before it becomes uncomfortable. Additional comfort measures are also available. The treatment typically lasts around 45 minutes, depending on the areas being addressed.
Step 3: Minimal Downtime
There is minimal to no downtime after your treatment, so you can resume work or other activities right after Sofwave™. You might experience some redness and warmth that could last a few hours. However, these effects are unlikely to disrupt your daily routine, making Sofwave™ a convenient option for busy individuals.
