While hyaluronic acid fillers can effectively address volume loss by providing immediate results, Sculptra works by stimulating the body’s natural collagen production over time, effectively planting the seeds for long-term skin restoration.
What can I expect during Sculptra treatment?
Your treatment session will last between 20-30 minutes on average, although some visits may take as long as an hour if multiple injectables are used or other modalities are incorporated into your treatment. Throughout your treatment, your provider will check in with you and ensure that you are comfortable. Patients who are extremely sensitive to small injections may request the use of numbing cream. For patients with anxiety regarding needles, our expert injectors can use a variety of techniques to minimize discomfort.
