Botox®, Dysport®, and Daxxify® are neuromodulator injections that reduce sweat production by blocking acetylcholine, the chemical responsible for activating sweat glands. By inhibiting acetylcholine, these treatments can significantly decrease sweating in targeted areas. When injected into specific sweat glands, they temporarily block the nerve signals that trigger sweating, resulting in a noticeable reduction in perspiration.

Treatment Steps
STEP 1: CONSULTATION
Start with a personalized consultation to discuss your goals. Your Aethos provider will review your concerns and visual goals, ensuring that the CoolTone® process is right for you. They will educate you on each step throughout the treatment.
Step 2: CoolTone® Session
A typical session lasts about 30 minutes. One of our specialists will place the CoolTone® device applicator(s) on your treatment area, allowing you to relax, read, or stream your favorite show while your muscles undergo an intense workout. We customize the treatment with different intensity levels to match your goals and comfort. While you’ll feel the involuntary muscle contractions, the process is generally painless, and the intensity can be adjusted for those who find it uncomfortable.
Step 3: Minimal Downtime
There’s no downtime after CoolTone®, allowing you to return to your usual routine with minimal to no side effects. The most common side effect, if any, is mild muscle soreness, similar to what you might feel after an intense workout and typically lasting only a day or two. However, don’t worry if you don’t experience soreness—it doesn’t mean the treatment isn’t working. CoolTone® technology reduces lactic acid buildup during muscle contractions, which helps prevent soreness. You can resume exercise whenever you’re comfortable, and doing so is encouraged to enhance and maintain your results.
